Results of the 2023 Belgian Francophone Weightlifting Championships.

Belgian Junior and Masters Championships - Fléron - 24 Sep 2023

Erik Noordhoek, our 20-year-old junior, became Belgian champion in the -73kg class with a total of 189kg, including a snatch record of 85kg.

Our 2 M35 athletes Dirk Verreycken and Thomas Bury became Belgian champions in their respective weight categories (96kg and 73kg); Michael Verbeken, M45 in 102kg, won the silver medal; Alea Fairchild, M55 in 76kg, also became Belgian champion, while Friedhelm Dreckmeier, our 64-year-old senior, became Belgian champion in his category (89kg) by signing 3 new records: 48 in the snatch, 53kg in the clean and jerk and 101kg overall.
